About Brick

Brick is a workout tracker made by lifters, for lifters: fast logging, honest progress, programs grounded in research, in English, French and Greek.

Why Brick exists

Most workout apps either slow you down at the gym or bury your progress under features you never asked for. Brick does the opposite: logging a set takes one tap, last time’s numbers are always ready, and every chart answers a question you actually have — am I getting stronger?

Brick is built by lifters who wanted one app that is fast on the gym floor, honest about progress and grounded in training research, in English, French and Greek.

What we believe

Progress comes from showing up and adding a little over time. The app’s job is to make that visible and easy, not to gamify it.

Your data is yours. Brick works without an account, you can export everything you log at any time, and deleting your account erases it from our servers.

Programs should explain themselves. Brick Coach shows the research behind every set, rep and rest recommendation.

How we write

Our articles and exercise guides follow the research consensus, not trends. Numbers — sets per week, rest times, rep ranges — come from peer-reviewed studies and position stands, which we link at the end of every article. When the evidence is mixed, we say so.

We review articles when new research changes the picture, and show the date of the last update. If you spot an error, write to us: we correct it and credit you if you wish.

Nothing on this site is medical advice. If you have pain, an injury or a medical condition, talk to a qualified professional before training.

The exercise library

Every exercise in Brick has instructions in three languages and, for most of them, a 3D animation built in-house so the movement is shown the same way every time: clean form, the working muscles lit on the body.
