How to do the Incline Push-up

  1. Place your hands on the edge of a bench, slightly wider than your shoulders.

  2. Walk your feet back so your body forms a straight line.

  3. Lower your chest toward the bench by bending your elbows.

  4. Push back up until your arms are straight.

Triceps, Shoulders

The pecs push your arms forward and across your body. Presses build the most mass; flyes and cable work load the stretch the presses miss.

Alternatives

Same muscles, similar movement: swap in one of these if the Incline Push-up doesn’t suit your gym or your joints.
